Why “new” keyword is used before int in main function ??
Moreover the pointers portion is later in the course and I think that " * " is denoting the pointer. So I’m not able to understand here whats being done here
Use of "new" keyword

new operator is used for dynamic memory allocation, and yes “*” is used for declaring or dereferencing pointers. If you don’t know pointers, then you should skip this implementation for now, and revisit later after you have done pointers. If you will still have any doubt, you can obviously ask here.
