Why the output of below code is not printing numbers from 0-9

for(var i=0;i<10;i++)
{
setTimeout(function (){
console.log(i);
},100)
}

Why the output of below code is not printing numbers from 0-9. Why It’s output is printing number 10, 10 times.

It is because of the scope of var when 100 milliseconds complete and setTimeout function runs i has become 10, whereas if you change var to let it will work and show 0-9
