Why code does not give segmentation fault?

In this lecture
currSum = cSum[j] - cSum[i - 1];
why does this code not give segmentation fault when i=0 and j=0??

hi @asysnsrs665 yes it should start with 1 not 0, idk y it didnt gave but thats wrong anyhow
