Unique_number3 (bit manipulation)

what do mean of (n) in the formula?
3*n+1?

hello @mzk1994

n can be any non negative number.

let say N=3*n+1
then through this formula all they are saying is whenever u divide the given number N with 3 u will get 1 as the remainder.

so 3*n+1 is indicating all numbers that gives remainder 1 when we divide it by 3.
