I solve many types of coding questions and sometimes allot 3-4 hours in a single question and finish it with understanding from other resources but next time again sees that question sometimes I become clueless or can just think 30-40% more than earlier so how to go with this. Like I learned most of the sorting algorithms with proper understanding but currently may be remembering just 3-4 so how to cope with this problem of forgetting the algorithm or famous questions like doing same hard problem again .
This is a general coding doubt
Hey @coderajay03
Solution to this is practice ,alot of practice.
You may not be able to think of logic maybe 2nd or 3rd time. But when u solve a problem multiple times then that and similar variations become a cakewalk.
Also You mentioned that you sometimes allot 3-4 hrs on a single question ,don’t do that at most devote 1hr per question to think of a solution and after that see the editorial .
okay but I heard to give atleast 3 hrs to question so your thinking ability can be enhanced and we will be happy and understand answer in much better way if our thinking path was correct.
But yes from now onwards I wont give more than 2 hrs
Devoting 3 hrs is acceptable if u are in your 1st year or 3 sem
But after that ,devoting more than 1-1.5 hr is more than enough. Because there are many things which one has to cover.
true will keep in mind.
Thankyou !
