Stemming Takes a lot time

For this dataset with 40000 examples: everything works fine with 84% accuracy. But PortStemmer takes more than 1 minute to do stemming for 40000 reviews. I also tried SnowballStemmer, but it takes even more time. And LancasterStemmer do not give us much accurate results.
Is there anything that I can do to speed up this stemming part ?
