Solution of the ques

Please provide me the solution of this question with explaination

hi @namanjain7206

Answer to this ques is 15.

Initially probability of getting a new number is 6/6 as we are willing to take any of the 6 numbers. So number of chances are reciprocal of this which is same 6/6 = 1. Next we have 5 unreached numbers. So, now prob. = 5/6 meaning number of throws required are reciprocal of this on an average = 6/5 = 1.2. Similarly for 4,3,2 and 1 chances. Resulting ans = 6/6 + 6/5 + 6/4 + 6/3 + 6/2 + 6/1 = 14.7 . Rounding it to next integer, we get answer as 15.

Hope it Helps.
