Selection sort or bubble sort

If we see both selection and bubble sort have a time complexity of n^2.
I think that selection sort is better because it includes less number of swaps. Please tell me if I am right.
Is swap an expensive function in terms of time ?

@gaganwalia212 yes you can say that in avg case but in worst both take n square.
yes reducing no of swaps helps a little bit
