Regarding monotonic search spaces

I want to ask that is any search space (basically numbers arranged from 0 in increasing order) already present in binary search in c++ ??

search space vary from problem to problem ,so its always our responsibility to analyse the problem and decide its search space.

Can I assume that search space is an imaginary array.

yeah u can imagine as an array which has montonic property
