still I m in confusion why to do till n-1 , we can not do till n only , if it isbpossible then pls send me I m confusing in n-1 terms

@ssmit_joshi, For comparison purposes in an array, two adjacent cells are needed; in an array of 6 elements, you do 5 comparisons only; in an array of 10 elements, 9 comparisons, and so on.
