Reading till end of file

i got the point that “%d” is used for scanning integers , but how to scan char, decimals ?? what we should use for them ??

@lucky.05 To read a character–> scanf(" %c", &c); The blank in the format string tells scanf to skip leading whitespace, and the first non-whitespace character will be read with the %c conversion specifier.
Use %f to scan decimals and use %s to scan a string/array of characters
