Please give reason for rahul help problem

i am not getting the point that if a[s]<=a[mid] then the key will be on left side if key would be on another part then also it would have happen a[s]<=a[mid]

@guptanikhil898 hey ,these are both different cases ,we have break the problem at one point and than apply binary search on both sides,check this out:
