Optimam game strategy

we are calculating max points player 1 can get is this not possible that after getting max points he losses , for ex if total of coins is 10 and he gets at max 4 so he can loss

ok but why are we taking min for the 2nd fn call

@deepakjumani09 we want the winner to score the maximum points, and want that the opponent should score less points (to increase margin)
