does gym work with windows or it needs ubuntu or any other Linux distribution

“gym” works absolutely fine in windows. Just do a pip install gym and you’re ready to go.

Edit: Doing a pip install is sufficient for a bare minimum gym. If you need to run more complex environments, follow this guide.
