Number of clusters

for example we have 5 clusters, is it necessary that all the clusters will have points at the end or some clusters can also have 0 points??

Hey @sagartiwari1711, no it is not necessary for all the 5 clusters to have points associated with it. It all depends on random initialization and also on where does the loss function converge. You can see the video again in which sir has showed us the case in which one cluster centre does not get any point in it’s cluster.
