how the filling is going on in the dp array and we are using it

What are you trying to ask…? Why can’t we use an array while filling it, or else it is filling bottom up, as in we ask recursion for answer to a subproblem, recursion calculates it, and we store the result in an array called dp, so than we don’t have to ask the recursion again to solve the same subproblem, and we can simply return by looking at the dp table, the answer for that subproblem. It is acting like a rough space for storing side results.
