Limitations of this method

I wanted to ask like here the digit we wanted check was unique or had even no. of similar digit but this method will not work if there are odd no. of similar no. like if there was
3 times 5 .

this method will work onlyif one numbers occurs in odd numbers of time and rest numbers in even time.

for any other case it will not work
