Do i really need to learn implementation of maps or just the knowledge of its working and knowing functions in stl would do?
I just want to know if i will ever be asked anything regarding its implementation.
I have a doubt regarding
@laksh.rustagi12 for contests and all you can use the STL functions, but in interviews if you give a hashmap based solution then you might be asked some questions about it so you should definitely have knowledge about its inner workings.

@laksh.rustagi12 anything can be asked in an interview, although the probability is less. you should know the logic and the basic concepts at least.
