How can i delete an item of a Recycler view

I have created a To-Do list and I am able to add an item on click but I want to delete that item after swiping from the left towards right.

Please read the exact problem before sending a solution. I am willing to swipe and delete the item, I haven’t created a button inside an item to delete it
