How address is assigned to a variable?

variable is stored at a random location, is there a algorithm behind it?
and also
Is there any way that we can store anything to any user specified address in memory.

@sarthakj2099 hey,aisi koi algorithm nhi hoti adress assign krne ki,apne aap hota hai ,only you can see that adress or print that adress.Hm apne ap se to nhi kr skte.
