How can i use glove embeddings on hashtags present in a tweet? I aim to carry out emoji prediction on tweets.

Hey @ambika11, you can simply remove the hastags while pre-processing the tweets as they won’t help in predicting the emojis.

Well, I feel that tweets can certainly affect the emotion. What if the text is a sarcastic tweet and that can be identified only using the hashtag? Or maybe some other scenario along similar lines…
Yes but after removing the hashtag too, I guess the sentiment of the tweet can be understood. Also I hope you are just doing tweets analysis right ? Don’t mix it with normal sentences.
