Expectation of bernoulli trial

As per wikipedia the expectation value is np where n is the number of trials but in the video it says 1/p. But many questions are being correctly solved by this concept. I’m unable to understand the difference

: it is the expected number of attempts for the first success

please post the link of wiki on which you are seeing, it might be some other expectation value.

The link says the expected value for n trials as n*p. But i read that for geometric distribution the the number of trials before a succes in bernoulli trial is 1/p. I’m not able to distinguish the difference
