I am a non-cse student and I want to get placed in product based companies like amazon, microsoft, etc. As a 3rd year student of engineering (B.E. Industrial Engineering at M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology), I need some guidance as to how to proceed further in this journey.
DSA course strategy

learn concepts very well from the course videos , solve all assignements and quizzes. once done with these two. practice very hard consistently , u should target to solve atleast 1500 dsa problems(use leetcode for questions) before the start of your placement season.
apart from ds-algo , produc based companies also focus on cs topics like computer network, dbms , operating system , obejct oriented programming so study them as well.
