What exactly does the variable ‘n’ denote in all the pattern lectures?
Doubt regarding the variable 'n'
Till pattern 5, I used to think that n denotes the total no. of rows. But in this pattern n denotes the no. of stars in the 5th row, i.e, the middle row.
@saijaltripathy_e79096f8f1ec20e3 n is the number given to you …Its is not related to no. of rows or cols or stars. It is just a number so that you can print the pattern accordingly and the relation of n and the pattern changes in every question so you can’t relate it to anything.
Oh… So the value of n will be given to us in the question? And we need to derive a relation b/w n and no. of rows, etc.?
