Doubt in reverse number

how is it possible 25183/10=2518 ???

In simple math if you divide 25183 by 10, the answer will be 2518.3 but since we use integer values to store our answer, we ignore the decimal (or the remainder). Hence 25183/10 = 2518 where 3 is a remainder
