content based filtering is like recommending an item similar to another item, not taking into consideration of users liking.
Whereas collaborative filtering in based on what items has user liked or viewed previously , based on that we recommend another item.
I hope this helped you understand the difference.
It uses Hybrid filtering. It is a combination of both content based and collaborative based filtering.
