Correlation is a actually a metric between two variables , that explains how one would be effected , if there is any change in the value of other.
So,here as we are working on ratings of each movie , hence a correlation between two movies will explain that if the ratings of one movie increases/decreases then how does it effects the ratings of other movies.
So , if we see that another movie B ratings are also changing in the same way as the ratings of movie A , then they both are co related to each other , i.e they are similar.
