why iam going to learn backtracking so early in the course i actually dont get it? can i just learn it afterwards the trees part .

yes of course you can learn trees first. Let me tell you backtracking is not that tough, some examples might look tricky at first.
in trees, when you learn about traversal of trees(which is very basic in trees), that is kind of backtracking in itself.
