At 6.47 it is mentioned error is same as y? Why is that?

It just a notation , if you go back to some functions basics , then it generally noted that
f(x) = x - 5 is also noted as y = x - 5.

So just considering the same thing , prateek bhaiya has sad that point.
Its just for understanding. You can use any variable inplace of it. But the main purpose is to understand the functioning of gradient descent , how it is working and how does the minimization of any target function takes place.
