In recurrence relation why final probability is the sum of all probabilities?

@sahazeer123 hey,it is rule of probability that if we want to find resultant probability of mutually exclusives events than we have to add all the probabilities of mutually exclusive events ,here these events are mutually exclusive events which can’t happen at same time.
