Accuracy in diabetes classification

I have got 78% accuracy in diabetes classification. How to increase the accuracy ?

hey @kartik321 ,
There are multiple ways to improve accuracy , but before that can you please let me know which model have you used to perform this task.

Thank You :slightly_smiling_face:.

I have used knn algorithm that was taught in knn videos

okay.
So ,with KNN you can reach a maximum upto 75-80% , not more than that.
To just update KNN performance , try different values of K and get the one that helps you the best.
Like you can try , k as 3,5,9,7,11,13,15,17,21,25,23,31 , etc.
and choose the one that performs the best.

You can try standardizing or normalizing your data, it sometimes works as an additional help to performance.

I hope I’ve cleared your doubt. I ask you to please rate your experience here
