when we define a pointer to pointer. The first pointer is used to store the address of the variable. And the second pointer is used to store the address of the first pointer.
for example, i have the address of a friend of mine and u know my address, when somebody asks you about my friend’s address, you refer him to me and then i refer him further to the required address

another good example would be if you and two of your friends go to a movie, but have separate seats far apart, so you remember the seat of your one friend and he remembers the seat of other friend
Here, your first friend will be analogous to a pointer and you, analogous to pointer to a pointer
