Why 2^7-1=128 not 127?

In the video : How numbers are stored in java?
There was 2^7-1…and the value was written as 128 instead of 127…Was it a mistake or was it intentional, if so then tell me the reason!!

It could written by mistake.the range is -128 to 127 in byte as data type.
