What is the significance behind putting the query point as -1 or 1.What do these -1 and 1 represent ,are they indices of training example , but then how it can be -1, please clear my confusion.
What does the value of the query point signifies?
Query point -1 is basically X value for which we intend to find parameter Q for predicting corresponding Y.
So query point used by sir is not an index but an actual value.
