Unable to understand problem

sir
in sample test case i.e
1
2
3
4
5
all of these are strictly increasing,thus there is no possibility of getting a number before which sequence is decreasing and after that it is increasing
confused??

or if take permutation of any sequence of more than two distinct numbers that will always have a permutated sequence follwing these conditions.

Hi @Harkirat,
in the given case, u can consider d following:
dec. seq=1
inc. seq={2,3,4,5}
any sequence consisting of only one number can be considered a decreasing/increasing sequence.

please can u give me example of any sequence which is not increasing-decreasing

for eg.
1 4 3 2 1 is inc-dec;
4 1 2 3 4 is dec-inc
(1 2 3 4 5)/(5 4 3 2 1) is inc-dec as well as dec-inc
