Subarray with distinct elements

please explain what the que wants to ask

number of subarrays with distinct element.
Let A be a subarray from i to j i.e. A[i…j] , then A[i]!=A[j] fro all i and j.
ex-; Arr[5]=1,2,3,3,4.
now A[0-2] is good but A[0-3] is not because A[2]=A[3].
