how in the code strlen function work without specifying cstring package in the starting . when i do the code it says not in the scope if i dont specify cstring package

Yes you must specify the package and include it.
Code was working there because it was run locally and on on any ide. It also depends on the compiler.
But a better practice is to always include the required header files.
