I can’t understand staircase search why u take 10 and 23 as useless why this if the array row and col wise unsorted then?

@Anusree_Dey In the question, it is given that the array is rowwise and column wise sorted. And this approach of staircase search is applicable only if it is row wise and column wise sorted. So in such a case elements 1 and 23 are useless as explained in the video.
