Significance of X in the music data

Here the music is the data from which it has to learn and that is it. How can we say it as X-data? Like there is no Y- data for a music file.

There are 4 types of learning now.

  1. Supervised ( Regression and classifction tasks )
  2. Unsupervised ( Clustering and all )
  3. Semi-supervised ( a mix of supervised and unsupervised. )
  4. Self Supervised. ( mainly useful in case of Gans )

So , in the given task , we need to predict the next music word or sound which is already present in the training data .
So , we need our model to understand it in such a way that , after a given input what should be the output.
hence, from the data provided we will create X and Y data accordingly.
like for example , first 10 sec of music is X( input ) and the 11th sec is Y( output )

Hence , in this you are not provided with as such , but you need to do it as such.
