Separately initilization of first element

why we have initilizsed first element of array separately in cumsum

we are calculating cumSum[i] = cumSum[ i - 1 ] + a[ i ]
the array will go out of bound for i = 0 as i - 1 = -1
so we have initialized the element at 0th index separately
