Segmentation error why not

for int i=0
when currentsum=cumsum[j]-cumsum[i-1]; is calculated doesnt arrise ??

Yes you are correct in this case it will give segmentation but here in the video the compiler used is taking cumsum[-1] as 0. So to prevent this error you can use
if(i>0)
currentsum=cumsum[j]-cumsum[i-1];
else
currentsum=cumsum[j];
