Regarding swap function

I saw ,Sir is using swap function in the video…He directly called the function without writing the function in the entire program. Does he importing the file ?If yes ,How do I import the swap function or any other function…?
because I used both iostream, algorithm header file, and called the swap ,but it didnt work in my local pc
