Regarding personal system to use as shown in tutorials

Hi, im failry new to programming in C++ and have been using your wonderful online ide to compile and test all my codes.

In a lot of the vidoes, you have used an offline ide to compile the code and run it using the terminal.

Can you please, in breif steps guide me as to how to set up my own system to run programs like thatm offline?

If im not wrong you are using sublime ide, i have explored its usage on my own but have been thoroughly confused with the different options in versions, plugins and compilers and how to configure these.

Please guide me with the basic steps to this setup and if possible with relevant link for installs and instructions for configurations.

Thank you!

Hi Ishita, thanks for your response.
Is there a link where i can see all my ongoing doubts and resolve them conveniently?
i can’t seem to find any such link anywhere.
On my course dashboard, where i filed the doubt, the screen doesnt scroll down at all which has been giving me a lot of problems. is there any way to fix that or atleast see my doubts and their replies?

hi @ilovetocode you can open the discuss blog directly, to see responses to your doubts. You can even see new notifications there.
Else on your course dashboard there must be an option to see the the “course library” there is a section there where all your doubts are listed (resolved unresolved both)

Hi Ishita! Thanks again for your quick response. Although im afraid, i will need your guidance a little further, this is my dashboard :

and this is inside my course:

I cannot seem to be able to locate either the aforementioned " discuss blog " or the " course library" . Please bear with me a little further and help me locate these pages.
I have browsed all the tabs and every link in there…
within the second image, with the course, my scroll bar doesnt work either, please tell me what i can do about that, if anything.
Thanks again!

Also, if this page itself, where we are, is the discuss blog you mentioned, that’s another thing, i cannot find a way to navigate to here or see any of my questions unless i get an email and use the link there. Is there any way to open this page from your website or my dashboard?

hi @ilovetocode you can simply go to this link discuss.codingblocks.com and open it in your browser. Login using your codingblocks credentials if you aren’t logged in.
For the above things that I mentioned,
go to My Courses section. (it is visible on the left side, 4th option from above on the black pannel).
Click on resume course from there, another dashboard will open. Scroll down a little and you should see the course library. Click there and you will see a section for doubts.

Alternatively, from the course itself, you can click on "see replies " below your doubt and you will see the replies and you can reply from there also

Hi Ishita! Thank you so so much, ive been trying to find this page for ages.

You have a similar “Resume course” button on the dashboard that takes us straight to the course, that mightve been the source of my confusion… thanks again.
