what does this statement do — pair<string,string> strpair[100];
Never seen this, can you please explain?

here we r declaring an array of size 100.
and the datatype of this array is pair<string,string> i.e each index of this array will hold a pair of strings

No it is array declaration only.
i think u r confused with pairs ,read this pairs
and then this should make sense to u

Are there any other such different methods for datatype declaration, besides the normal ones?
