PigeonHole application

I understood the approach and logic clearly , however i am not able to relate this with the “PigeonHole” concept . What is pigeonhole in this problem?

Pigeons in holes. there are n = 10 pigeons in m = 9 holes. Since 10 is greater than 9, the pigeonhole principle says that at least one hole has more than one pigeon.
In mathematics, the pigeonhole principle states that if n {\displaystyle n} n items are put into m m containers, with n > m n>m, then at least one container must contain more than one item.[1] This theorem is exemplified in real life by truisms like "in any group of three gloves there must be at least two left gloves or at least two right gloves
