As mentioned in the question,the jailor in the first round opens each door,in the second round he goes to every second door and opens it and in the third round he goes to every third door and flips the state of the door.Now it is said this goes on for 100 rounds,my doubt is after round 3 which process is repeated?Does the jailor repeat steps 1,2,3 again?or does he repeat 2 and 3 or does he continue to repeat step 3 from round 4 onwards?

Hey @Nitin-Bhattacharyya-2319140631658033 I’ll help you to understand in a better way . Suppose you got drunk and you opened all the doors . Now when you go in your second round you will only treat doors which are multiple of 2 i.e., (2,4,6,8…100) and now you go for third round which means you will only treat doors which are multiple of 3 i.e., (3,6,9,…99). Now when you go in your fourth round you will only treat doors which are multiple of 4 i.e., (4,8…100) and you have to go till 100 rounds. This will help you in understanding question better
