Meaning of Right shift

what is mean by right shiftin by 1 that is:
oldCapacity>>1 ?

hey @kavit for example let take n = 5. ‘n’ in binary = 0101 then 0101 >> 1 means we will shift this binary to Right side ‘1’ time and left side will get zeroes. So 0101 >> 1 = 0010 which is equal to 2 . therefore 0101 >> 1 = 2;
