Logic behind the number and stars pattern

the number of rows= n, I’m unable to understand the logic for the number of columns

Hey @mankaran89, takine row_number in 0 based indexing, meaning first row has row_number =0 and second_row have row_number = 1 and so on.

for ix in range(0,2*(row_number)-1):
   print("*", end= ' ')
