The concepts of deep copy and references are discussed in detail in your course in the OOPS section. Kindly refer to those videos.
This problem cannot be solved in constant time. It will require atleast O(n) time to solve it. Make sure you have solved other problems for Linked List in your course because if you are jumping straight to this one , it would be a bit tricky.
