Keypad codes recursion

in this ques have we hardcode the string and the numeric value?
lyk : 1 = abc;
2=def;
so that whatever the number user will input ,we can look forward the solution with the assigned string in the code???

Yes we have hardcoded the string and numeric value. Simple example can be if you can remember the old nokia phones when you had to press ‘1’ twice to type b and so on.
